emelle's catering ltd. opened its doors to greet our first guests in may of 1999. with a new, cool, contemporary and polished look, we quickly became the neighborhood's favorite place to stop for breakfast and lunch. our first guests, now turned regulars, have become dependant on emelle's to set the precedent for remarkable service and delicious cuisine.

skimp on the check, not on the taste

we were featured as one of 30 restaurants in the city
that are budget-friendly eateries with great food.
we love all our loyal customers as well as friendly new faces. this glowing review is well appreciated and we already have a customer this morning interested in trying out the turkey cranberry comfort-sandwich!

bc wedding awards

ml, darren, nicole, mikylah & tiff were at the bc wedding awards last night to partake in the hors d'oeurves challenge. the chefs created an absolutely mouth-watering "sunshine coast spot prawn duet" - a spot prawn skewer over sake cup of spot prawn bisque with a dollop of fresh whipped cream.

last night marked the inaugural wedding awards ceremony, which was hosted by district 319. what a fabulous venue! thanks to tracy, steff & justin who were the driving forces behind the event, and dedicated so much of themselves to make this happen. we're already looking forward to next year!

Anny made a spectacular mini fresh vegetable garden in a wheat grass meadow for an event tasting. Always a hit at grazing stations, this veggie garden features a trio of delicious dips. Talk about edible art!

Canadian Cancer Society

Today is the Canadian Cancer Society's "Make Casual Day Count". In support of the fight against cancer, we were all enthusiastic to participate. However, due to kitchen uniforms, "casual dressing" wasn't really an option. So we went all smiles and modified the theme of the day. We "dressed up" with fancy chef hats and dazzling grins instead. In the diner we have a donation box with proceeds going to the Canadian Cancer Society in the steps to making cancer history.
